Membership Meeting

Belize 2010

This spring, Amy Schrag, Nananda Col, Dave Boyle and I took a two week trip to Belize to paddle the keys along the barrier reef. This trip was not hard core paddling, but it was hard core fun. We took lots of pictures of paddling, snorkling and sightseeing which we have pared down into what might possibly be considered to be an entertaining slide show.

We spent the first couple of days in Placencia, then nine days out on the keys and three days in Punto Gorda. In Punto Gorda we enjoyed the local color, visited a Mayan ruin, swam a half mile into a cave and did a little cliff diving.

Please come to the meeting to see our pictures, hear our tales and possibly be enticed into doing a similar trip.

Prior to the meeting at 17:30, we will have our usual dinner at Ricetta's Pizzeria in the Falmouth Village shopping center (next to Staples.)The Falmouth Memorial Library, where we are meeting, is at the corner of Depot & Lunt Roads, approximately 100 yards west of Ricetta's.
